Helene and Fred Seeman
HELENE SEEMAN
As director of the art collection for the Prudential Corporation Helene Seeman was a strong supporter of my work. She was also a close friend.
A memorial fund has been established in her name at the Brooklyn Museum of Art for the purpose of mounting an annual exhibition of significant work by women artists.

This website focusses specific attention on paintings done between 1980 and the present. Except for a few examples of early work, other art such as studies for paintings or small paintings which are not part of a series has been omitted. That work has been exhibited by two art dealers; Elizabeth Ferrer, founder and director of Pictogram Gallery in New York’s East Village, and Marleen DeBleser, a private dealer currently working for the municipality of Londerzeel, Belgium.
